Motueka River Hills Bed & Breakfast is well located for Nelson and Motueka. It lies between the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks. So while here, wander down to the Abel Tasman National Park, where you can do the following:
- Tramping or walking - an amble by the seaside or hike the famous Abel Tasman Coastal Track
- Picnics
- Sea kayaking
- Swim with seals
- Take a water taxi tour/cruise of the park
- Dive the marine reserve

Or see what the other parks have to offer. The access to Kahurangi National Park and Mt. Arthur is only 45 minutes south of us and provides visitors with opportunities to tramp in quiet beech forest or climb Mount Arthur with views to Farewell Spit.
The Nelson and Motueka region is also renowned for its arts and crafts.
Many artists live in the Motueka area and have galleries and workshops open to the public. So take your time while you browse the arts and crafts and chat to the artists.
There are also many well-known wineries and vineyards in the region where tastings and/or lunches are available. Relax in the sunshine while sipping a glass of wine and discuss your plans for the rest of your holiday.
