The location will be rail served as well as being only a few minutes from Pokeno and State Highway One. This will enable the companies on site and in the surrounding areas to have their goods imported or exported by truck or train, directly to the Ports of Auckland or Tauranga also known as the “Golden Triangle”.
An automated rail yard will have equipment capable of lifting loads upto 40 tonnes and will service container traffic at speeds not currently seen in the ports sector in NZ.
